Privacy Policy

Advoid does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data, browsing history, or page content. It has no servers of its own to send anything to — everything it does happens locally, inside your browser.

What Advoid does

What Advoid stores

Your on/off setting, your per-site whitelist, the YouTube toggle, and a local count of blocked requests are saved using Chrome's storage.local API. This data stays on your device. It is never synced to any Advoid server, because none exists, and it is never sent anywhere else.

Why Advoid asks for broad permissions

Advoid requests permission to run on all websites (<all_urls>) because ad and tracker blocking only works if it can apply on any site you visit — not because it reads, collects, or transmits what's on those pages. The storage permission is used solely for the local settings described above.

Third parties

Advoid does not use analytics, crash reporting, or advertising services of any kind, and does not share data with any third party, because it collects none.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the update will be posted on this page with a revised date above.
